you have been the soundtrack to my life these last 19 years and now i will try to live a month without you. it will not be easy. you will call out to me through the silence, but will not be able to hear you.
i will miss you dearly.
i will miss your soothing piano as i sleep, your long screams as i drive with the windows down, your sad lyrics as i sit by a rainy window your rhythmic raps as i study, your rocking drums as i throw a private bathroom concert, and so much more.
yet as my soul thirsts for a lyrical and melodious refreshment, find refuge in the hearts of others who need you more than i do. be the sunshine, not the shadow. be the inspiration, motivation, and exclamation to another's soundtrack.

i'm going to miss music a lot during my mission trip, but dude, praise is the best kind of music out there. and i know you'll be doing a lot of it (: so rest assured, i know you'll be coping just fine!
